What to do when Yahoo fails/ignores your report of technical failure on page?

I've written Yahoo about a pretty searious issue that has happened to my page. I think I have in fact written them three times. I have gotten no help, and it's been around 6 months. I'm tired of this, but I love Yahoo. I am not loving the poor customer service on this issue. It's a pretty big technical difficultie, but they aren't doing anything.

Please, what should I do?

  1. They are no longer fixing problems on 360. It's being left to die. They are supposed to be rolling out something new to centralize the profiles from different parts of Yahoo.

  2. You could silently protest by not using Yahoo anymore. I'm not sure if that really gets you anywhere.

I'd say stop expecting to receive replies on things like that. When I e-mail a place with a complaint, I always appreciate an answer but usually don't expect to get one.

As for the problem, I can't help you much because I don't know what it is. You could try using  different browser. Explorer and Firefox seem to be the most compatible with most features. If you have a Mac, like I do, you might just be out of luck.

  3. As mentioned above, Yahoo announced that they would no longer fix 360 bugs back in October 2007. See the 360 team blog at http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 .

As for your Friends list problem, in my opinion, you can try some of things mentioned in a past answer here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... . If it doesn't help, then I recommend that you remove content from your current 360 space and put everything on "Just Me (Private)" or "Friends". Then, create a new Yahoo ID (go to http://mail.yahoo.com while not logged in , and click the "Sign Up" link) and activate the 360 space for that new ID to start over.

OR you can wait with your current 360 for the transition to a new platform that could happen likely by the end of March.

OR you can stop using the service altogether.

I know it sucks to lose your friends list and I do sympathize.
