My 17 yr. old daughter ran a stop sign, was hit by another vehicle that was uninsured. The other driver told her to "leave" because he had no insurance. Later, a cop was seen at the scene with the other driver. What do we do now that we did not file a police report ourselves?

  1. uhhhh...file a police report and notify your own ins co.i hope she got other drivers lic plate if not his name

  2. Don't leave the scene until a report is filed.  If the other driver wants to leave that's fine, let them get cited for the leaving the scene of an accident.  Before they leave try to get as much info as possible - driver's name, year make model & plate number of car, owner of car, names of any passengers, note where damage was on the car and if there were any injuries, no matter how minor.

  3. you should stay at the sean until the cops arrive

  4. go tell the cops what happend.

you should never leave the scene unlees directed to do so by the police.
