Question:

What to do when a sudden break-up occurs?

So here's the situation. I've been dating my boyfriend for 3 months, up to this moment we've had a great time together. We saw each other practically everyday, I've met his parents and his colleagues already, but never talked about more serious steps ahead.

A couple of weeks ago I told him I was falling for him (which seemed pretty normal for me). After that he had to go on a trip and when he came back he told me he wanted to break up and rethink things... His life, organize his priorities; according to him when I told him that he realized he didn't feel the same way as me. After this we decided to meet again the week later just to hear what he thought and take a decision.

Is it expected for him to feel the same at this moment? What should I expect now in terms of the future? Should I keep pushing to move forward with the relationship? I really like him and would love to conitnue, but I don't know if I should just step aside.

HELP! Thanks!

  1. Move On!

  2. Ummmm *shakes head*.

You have just put a man in position that would be best described as a trapped/caged tiger.

This doesn't mean he doesn't like you, he does. But it's now to the point of COMMITTMENT!!!.  One of the scariest things a man faces.  You are now no longer a challenge.

DO NOT!!! I repeat DO NOT push him into committing because he'll resent you later on.

How to solve this... you need to become a challenge again.  That fish that can't be caught type stuff. So when you see him next, don't be clinging, give the impression that you are going on a date with someone or something of the like. Don't get him jealous just send a subtle message of "Hey! this is what your gonna miss.."

Your relationship is still early, if you had said that you were falling for him after you had been with him for a year then I would be telling you to move on but the guy is not sure if your the one.  That's all

Remember.......  make yourself the challenge for him.

  3. @ least hes being honest with you!...he needs his space so let him have it.Maybe he thinks he can do better than you and wants to see if thats possible...if your a confident girl and know you are the best he can do then you have nothing to worry about. In the meantime maybe you should see this as an opporunity to shop around for a better guy just in case things dont work out.

  4. get him back if you want him
