  1. I would call the police.

  2. If it was your debit card or credit card, just cancel it immediately. They should be open 24/7. The employee who gave your card to someone else should be fired. If the manager of that branch did not help, ask for his/her manager and keep going up the ladder  until it is settled to your satisfication. If you want to feel a little safer, you can put it on fraud alert for 90 days throught Trans Union Fraud Dept. Their toll free # 1-800-680-7289. They will notify the other 2 bureaus for you.

  3. What do you mean they gave it to someone else? Another employee or another customer? They are within their right to give it to another employee if there is a legitimate business reason.

If he gave it to another customer, why did he do that? That doesn't even make sense.

What you need to do is go in and talk to the branch manager personally, don't just call them, and don't leave until they help you.

You should have already filed a police report if you do not have your id in your possession so they can contact the appropriate authorities.
