What to do when bored in junior high class.?

I'm in eighth grade, and in a couple classes i sit toward the middle/front of the class, so i cant really get away with doodling, or sleeping, etc. But i've tried a couple games you can play in your head, like counting bricks on the wall, or what i usually do is try to find a word with no vowels in it. Those got kind of old though so does anyone have any other good ideas?

Listen to your ipod. Wear a long sleeve shirt of hoody and string your earphones through one of the sleeves. Hold the ear phones and sleve cuff together and put it to your ear and rest your head on the table. It is enough to give you some entertainment, descrete enough to not get you in trouble, and you can still hear whats going on.

This might not be relevant but pay attention in class. Yes, we all get bored. especially when you have a boring teacher. Honestly, I don't know how well you're doing. You could be a genius for all I know anyways... pay attention because the teacher is getting paid anyways and it wont affect them if you don't pay attention it might just affect you!
