What to do when fathers bring their daughters into the mens room?

In a public bathroom today a man brought his daughter into the mens room and I was trying to pee at the urinal but I couldnt because the girl was roaming around and she was looking at everyone do ...what they were doing! I had to go in to the stall to pee

Well, I'm assuming it was a very young girl, but just so.. I'm sure you felt uncomfortable.

Should it happen again, I think if I were a guy, I would politely put the snake back into the trousers, and then wait.. as patiently as possible for the unthinking daddy, to finish his business and leave with the girl, and then finish my own.

Well it's hard when a father doesn't have a wife, girlfriend, or older daughter to take her into the bathroom. The choices are let her go to the women's by herself and pray she doesn't get kidnapped, let her pee herself, or take her into the men's. Suck it up. She is just a little girl.

It todays ages many places have family bathrooms.

maybe she was a bit young to go into the ladies room herself..if she ad to go //and if was just him he could of gotten into real trouble by leaving them alone at that young age..in just in a situation where which one is the less evil

maybe you should have made a comment to him. be polite but let him know that his daughter may see something she shouldnt.

Oh that really P's me off when dads do that!  Typically, society has made it to where family rooms are accessible for situations like this.  If there are private stalls, he should of taken her into there with him (if he had to go that bad- however, he should of searched for a family room idiot). If the girl is old enough, she should be trusted enough to go into a women's room while he waited outside or h**l he would of been better off in there with her-there are no urinals :).  Unfortunately, there is no comfortable protocol for these situations. Common courtesies, he could announce or double check first (again, he's an idiot) or you can respect her enough to go into a stall or if there is ever a next time, remind that sucker of all the pedi-sickos out there and this is the last place for a little girl no matter how "bad" he/she has to pee.
