What to do when iPod nano freezes?

My 3g iPod nano occasionally freezes. I normally have to let the battery run out for it to go back to normal. I have tried holding down the center and play button at the same time, holding down the center and moving the lock back, and plugging it into my computer but none of these have helped. Is there anything else that I can do instead of waiting for the battery to run out?

umm when my ipod nano froze i did the same thing you did and let the battery die, but mine only froze 1 time, so i think something is wrong with yours. )=

thats what happened to my i touch a lot so then i took it to best buy and they fixed it you should do that to but you need the warranty plz give me best

yes reset it when it freezes by holding the center button and the menu button for 6 to 10 seconds that should do it
