  1. It is not getting enough light or the wrong quality of light.  If it is inside, you are going to have to beef up your light source.  If it's outside, it's probably getting too much shade.  Move it to more direct sunlight.  In the mean time you had better stake it up or it will break off.  Adding more soil or planting it deeper could help as well.

  2. Plants indoors reach for the sunlight, and can develop straggly stems.  This often happens with seedlings too, if they are left too long before potting out.  Spindly stems are weaker, so my suggestion would be to support the plant with a stake, and move it to where it can get better light

  3. It's probsbly leaning to the side because it is high on itself.

  4. idk...ive never grown weed...i dont plan on it..but i do grow peppers and squash...and thats usually not a problem...fertilizer maybe?  or dont grow pot?  if you get causght...jail...and buttsecks with giant scary prisoners?  not fun.

  5. Here's just suggestions:

    1. Put a stick beside the plant and tied it there so that it will not lean on or fall outside the pot.

    2. Place your pot outside your house every morning just to get enough sunlight or put it in a place where there's sunlight.

This will not guarantee to shorten the [already long] stem, but to strengthen it until the stem able to support the whole plant.
