My husband sweats alot...uses axe spray & stick deodorants..but lately his armpit is getting burned with axe. He tried one of those sticks that you get with colognes...which he didn't have any problems with, but that was a small one...don't know if something would happen if he used it longer....any suggestions???

  1. use hydrocotisone cream for the irritation

  2. his armpit probably just got raw from putting deodorant on so much, i wouldnt worry too much about it

  3. Dont use axe ^.^

  4. dont use axe ever for deoderant. it is very bad if you have sensitive skin.

  5. I used to get what you're talking about when I used an anti-perspirant. If it has "aluminum somethingorother-hydrate" in it, that could be the problem. Old Spice makes a plain deodorant that works really well. It's a little difficult to find just plain deodorant. Be careful that you try something that specifically does not say that it helps stop wetness or something to that effect. Not all anti-perspirants plainly state that they are, because of this problem.

  6. Try something for sensitive skin.

  7. Some people are sentitive to the ingrediants in deodorants and will get skin irritations.

Go to a chemist and ask them to show you a mineral salt stick which is an alternative to spray on or roll on deodorants.

The salt sticks do not have an odour of their own... as in they are not purfumed... but when you use them they stop the bacteria that cause body odour from growing.

I have very sensitive skin and can't use 'normal' deodorants so I use the salt stick under my arms - which stops the smell - and a nice aftershave on my face.

    Easy.
