What to do when you need to sell used string instruments in Virginia?

I have 1 cello and 2 violins.

Where would be the best place to sell these instruments?

ebay?? local music store??? a place that recycles used parts or wood? or even a school for violin makers who might use it as reference?? or any other suggestions????

ebay will give you the biggest bang for the buck they sell very well there in any condition.

Also many local tv stations,or things like craigs list let you advertise locally for free.... also newspapers allow you to place clasifieds.
