My friend doesn't travel at all, and he got a one-stop flight. I've only done non-stop flights so I have no idea how a one-stop flight works. He's flying from NJ to NC to TX in about a week. Does he need to check in again between flights? What will happen to the luggage? Does he need to go get it and go check it in again? Please help, five stars and 10points to the best answer! TYSM

  1. "Sorry, hooker

Alayna, **** you :D She was a hooker she even said it."

its a spammer. she isnt a hooker, some bored person is spamming everyday on yahoo answers.

  2. um no usually they just unload passengers that are stoping in that one place and u can just sit there and wait unitl the people who are getting on  the plane to be seated and then u leave for your destination

  3. When he gets to NC all he has to do is go to the gate where he will be flying from to go to TX. He does not check back in, as their is no reason to, unless he LEAVES the airport for whatever reason then he will have to check back in. His luggage will be transfered from the planes by the airport luggage personnel. He will not see his luggage, nor will he be able to pick it up at any time until he gets to his final destination, TX, so their is no reason for him to worry about his luggage because it is taken care of by the airport luggage personnel, they are responsible for transferring luggage from plane to plane. I hope I answered your questions :).

  4. If your friend does not de-plane then he does nothing.  If he has to de-plane and take a connecting flight with the same carrier, then the airline will transfer the baggage and he checks in at the gate.  But if he has to de-plane and change carriers then of course he must retrieve his baggage and check in with the new carrier.
