What to do when your cat has the runs and is being sick????

im asking this for my brother who has a 5 year old male cat called ollie, my brother has just started working nights and he has been noticing that ollie is being sick nearly every night and has the runns, as he sees it every morning when he comes home from work, could this be because he is missing his owner or could it be something else? he still eats the same food , is there anything you can give to cats to stop this?

What do you do when a cat is sick? You take him to the vet!

You take it to the vet. If it was an upset stomach or just stress, it should clear up in a few days. If it has been like this for over a week, something is wrong with the cat, and it needs to go to the vet. Giving it something to make the runs go away will only be masking the problem, not getting rid of it

Um yeah, a vet would probably be a good place to start.

I'm afraid that the only sensible answer is to take Ollie to the vets.  It's probably not what you want to hear but the only person who will be able to figure out what's going on is a vet.
