What to do with Winifred???

Question

I am quite drawn to the idea of using Winifred as a middle name because 1) It was my Grandmothers name and 2) It has a beautiful meaning (blessed/peace/joy/reconciliation) but lets face it - its a terrible sounding name - so does anyone have any ideas about any derivatives (other than Winnie and Frieda which are equally bad) or variants that sound better?

We are thinking of Amelia as the first name.

Why not Wynn for a nickname

Winifred is a terrible sounding name, you are right but if it was ur gramas and you are using it thats all that matters .

My Grans name was Winifred and I love it! We are expecting a boy in october but if it was a girl I liked Charlize Winifred or I like it spelt Wynifred. I think its beautiful.

Amelia Fin? Like replacing the W with an F and dropping the Fred.

Amelia Red? Taking out the Winif.

Amelia Windi? Rearranging some letters.
