  1. well dont try coloring or anything that is easy to loose interest in try making her obstical courses and timing her or having races (let the baby win ) or athletic stuff it keeps babys interested

    hope this helps

  2. A lot of toddlers with very short attention spans are just really physically active.  She should plan a lot of physical activities with her, like the obstacle course someone else described, playing outside (don't forget sunscreen!), playing hide and seek and that sort of thing.  Are you in a city close to a park?  Would the parents allow her to take the child to a public park?  Sometimes that is a great way to get really hyper-active, short attention span kids to burn up a couple of hours.  I would try to stay away from the tv if I could.  Far too many children spend far too many hours in front of the boob tube.  Anyway, your daughter should plan on being super babysitter tomorrow and doing a lot of running around.  I've been in just her situation, and that was usually the best thing--plus it was a really good cardio workout for me!

  3. All 2 year olds have the attention span of 5 seconds. She just has to get down and play with her at her level. Try outside.

  4. Too bad the only thing that can keep her occupied is the TV. The parents must let the child watch tv alot. If the parents are up to it, she should be weaned from the tv even if she cries, but your daughter cant make that decision. She will just have to do what she can to play with her in between bouts of watching tv.
