What to do with a bird's egg?

Question

Here's what I know:

It is a Hoopoe's egg, and it's still alive. It's in a warm incubator that I made for now. I haven't seen the parents around and I couldn't just leave the egg because my gardener will take the egg and sell it.

Please don't tell me too cook the egg. It's not funny and it doesn't answer my question.

Please don't say it's illegal either. I don't live in the USA. In my country, it's perfectly fine to keep a wild bird (no laws against it).

Keep it in your incubator,every couple days turn it.Maybe some day it will make a fine bird.

You MUST have some agency in your countries that deals with wildlife..every country does. Also, I would guess there MUST be wildlife rehabs in your area as well.  Some rehabs are individuals that do it out of their home..do you have veterinarians near you?  You might be able to call one to see if they know of any wildlife rehabs nearby as people may occasionally bring them birds or wildlife, so they most likely know the proper place to take them.  You don't mention where you live...but here are some international wildlife rehabs that you might be able to use:

Take good care of it till it becomes an adolscent......after that try to contact a forest ranger(from google).....I'm a great animal lover and have participated in several such operations(PETA)......contact me if u need any help in taking care of the bird.....my e-mail id: [e-mail].....please do contact me.....I live in USA!!

Hello- your gardener wil sell it eyy? thats weird, but anyway you should call the wildlife reserve and they will take the egg, there for when it hatches it will be happy because you might not know what to do.
