  1. buy a huge toilet for like fat people so you can flush it down there

  2. fry that sucka up

  3. Bring it to a petstore and swap it for a smaller fish. They will definitely do it because bigger fish = worth more money. I have done this many times with clown loaches because they get huuuugggee for my 20 gallon.

  4. Flush him.

  5. Asking the obvious!

You have no choice but to buy bigger one.

or you can kill some of the bigger ones...

or you can sell to shop!!!

last resort, let them squeeze to death.. (which is bad)

  6. Try to give it away on craigslist, but make sure to tell people how big a tank the fish will need.

Could sell it on aquabid but you'd have to know how to ship fish.

Don't buy fish that will outgrow you're tank.  That's sort of a no-brainer.

  7. One of the best things, I personally believe, is you can take your beloved pet to most of your local (reputable) aquarium stores and do a trade in. Most places will offer you 1/3 to 1/2 of the retail price in store credit. That way he can go to someone with a bigger tank and you can get a new friend.

  8. Beside putting it up on craigslist and all that try your LFS first. Most will take back fish that have grown too large.  Some may even give you some money once they have had your fish in their shop and it sells.

  9. Advertise on your local kijiji or go to a local pet store. Even give it for free to a good home.

  10. trade it for a smaller fish at ur LFS
