What to do with a hamster that keeps on sleeping in its wheel?

My hamster is always sleeping in its wheel,what do i do to make it stop sleeping there.

Nothing..evidently he thinks that is his sleeping place....If you don;t like it and want him to exercise, spin the whe;; while he is in it..

Please don't spin the wheel while he is in it. You could injure your hamster.

Really, if that's where he likes to sleep, there's no problem with it. Just make sure to clean it good when you clean the cage.

And if you have a hamster ball, try to get him in that and let him run around so he gets his exercise.

Well one way I have found to help cut this problem out is as follows.

1.Clean the cage in  the morning

2.When you put your hamster back it is likely that your hamster will make a "bed" and go back to sleep.

3. Don't have the wheel in at this time

4. That night replace the wheel so he can excersize

The next day he will probally sleep in the same spot. Problem solved until next week
