that ls vtech engine aint gonna pass smog

you could just drive it until it dies out and you get good gas mileage out of it too..

if you want to swap to be legal go with a

B18B1(ls motor)

b18c1(GSR motor)

b18c5(type r)

b16A2(99-00si)

D15 vtec or D16Z (92-95si and 92-95 del sol si)

H22 (prelude)

Ka20(RSX)

B20(crv with alot torque)

D15Z1(92-95 vx saves up to 50mpg)

make sure it has papers and it is a complete swap so you dont have to waste time looking for other parts

the cheapest are the D15Z,D15,D6Z6

they go for about 400-700

the rest varies from 1K-4K

You might want to try a first generation V16-A, Japanese A spec with an LS V-tech conversion. You'd be unstoppable. Might could sell the old one and make some cash. Why not ebay or CraigsList?

turbo old motor...or go with a b18c5 swap....or settle for a b18c1....and either supercharge it or turbo charge it...with the common suspension setups and your usual performance upgrades...
