It's too hot to go anywhere and I've been on a contant rotation of nursing and walking her around the house. She hates to be set down and she's already bored easily.

  1. My little one loved his bouncy seat.  You can put one of those play mobile over it and let her go at it.  A swing works great too.  You really ought to let her down by herself even if she fusses, otherwise you'll never get a break.  My son cried for maybe 5 or 10 minutes the first time then quit. The second was half that. After that he wouldn't cry.  Now at seven he goes to bed by himself when he is tired.  He doesn't fight to stay up.

  2. For my 3.5 month old...we put him down on his play mat..he LOVES it! It had dangling toys and colorful stuff on it. Or if he gets tired of that I will put cartoons on the tv and lay him infront of it on his boppy. he likes the colors and noise. if he doesnt wanna do that he likes his swing.. but he thinks its time to go to sleep when hes in there because its always putting him to sleep LOL i just finally broke out his bebe pod that helps him sit up. he finds that interesting for a little while. lol. or just put her on her stomach...they like that too! they have these little books that when you scrunch them it sounds like paper..he will chew on it and play with that all day lol. he loves the noise. or get a toy that talks and makes colors. he likes that too. hope that helps!

  3. You could sign up for a mommy and me class

Maybe try getting a swing so you can rest you arms and she can still feel the movement.

Make sure she gets lots of floor time so she can exercise =) good luck, it'll be easier!

  4. i know it's hot but you don't have to keep her inside just make sure if you take her out make sure she is cool. sometimes you have to sit the baby down or that will cause bigger problems in the future. if she is bored try playing with her or give her some baby toys to play with.

  5. put her in her swing, on a blankie on the floor to play, bouncy seat.... she may cry a little. its not boredom, shed rather be held. well, u have stuff u want to do right? well, let her work it out... she'll get used to entertaining herself for short periods of time, and it will give u some sanity! good luck!

  6. I know I have 23 month old, we live in az, so its way to hot to go anywhere, we dont have the car during the day. Wait til next summer when shes a year and wants to go outside or even worse 2 years old.

    good luck

  7. You could get a swing, or a vibrating bouncy chair. Put her on her tummy for a while with some toys. Get a small pool if you have a backyard and put her in for while and get in with her. Play music, Buy her a toy for her crib that has lights, or a playground mat that she can lay on that has mirrors and toys for her to look at. You may have to just let her cry a little I understand it's annoying but if you want to be able to walk around you may have to let her soothe herself for a while.

    It gets greater later.

  8. You may have to start working on putting her down from time to time and letting her cry a bit. Otherwise, you will be carrying her around until she graduates. That said, why don't you go walk around a mall, or an indoor place that's cool. Or put her in a bouncy seat, that's what my nephew loves! Congrats on your baby, good luck!

  9. try a baby swing....put her under a play gym....go to the mall and walk around with the stroller...take a nap with her

  10. play a fun game like:

    hid and go seek

    finger paint

    dress up

make an eatable play dough(you can find a ingredients on line)

    paint her nails

give her some fake jewelry to play with

    talk to her

unplug a phone and pretend to let her call someone

    hope i helped

  11. After the first month you should be out and about or you will both go mad. She is bored because you are not doing anything. Try:

An early morning and late evening walk around the neighborhood

Go to the park feed some ducks

    A walk around the mall

    Grocery shopping
