What to do with an old mailbox?

i have an old mailbox, and i wanna put it in my room, but what would i use it for?

I like the hat and glove idea.

I am going to add if it has the hooks on the bottom like mine for the news paper scarfs would hang there nicely..

another type can be used as a trash can..

can be used next to bed for storage ,journal,kleenex flashlight lip moisturizer etc.. things you might put in a nightstand.

Store your to read magazines..

Just a few ideas above perhaps it will stir your creativity..

-A cd holder.

-a scrap paper container

-a garbage can

-a pen/pencil holder

-A stuffed animal box

-book case

-jewelery box

You could pad it and hang it outside your window with bird seed. I know it's not in your room but you'll always have something interesting to look at outside!

You could use it as a makeshift cabinet either for keys or whatever! It depends what the mailbox looks like, because I know our European ones look different! :)
