What to do with car scratches?

Ok , I just got a new 2008 Gray Suzuki Grand Vitara and after one hour of having it, it got scratched, the bumper on the driver side as well the light, the case that is, I wiped some of it off.

Is there anyone that knows how much it would cost to get the rest of it off?

They are scuff marks, look like scrapes, they are white for the most part.

Any information would be much appreciated, 10 pts for not the best answer but the one that makes the most sense.

  1. Often small scratched can be removed by using a good brand name rubbing compound ... You can find it at any reputable auto repair store, such as NAPA, O'Reillys, or A1 Auto Parts ... They even make a special formula for chrome, fiber-glass, and plastic parts.

Also WD-40 is very good at removing Paint, Tar, Ink, Magic Marker,  and many other fluids and substances that make get splashed onto your car ... spray it on heavy, let it set a few seconds, and rub hard, might take a few applications to get really dried paint or tar off, but I have seen it work wonders ...  might try this first it will be easier and maybe cheaper too.

    Hope this helps.
