What to do with dying Hamster?

Question

My Hamster got shaken by my dog, and now she doesn't eat or drink. she's gotten really skinny, and i don't know what to do.

she is blind and i think she might die if she continues not eating or drinking.

any suggestions on how to feed her?

I would recommend having it put down by a vet.

It is obviously suffering.

Use an eyedropper or a syringe without a needle to feed her.  If you don't have either of these a vet will provide you with one and possibly some type of liquid food.  Baby food works great - I recommend getting a fruit/veggie type like sweet carrot.  When my hamster was sick I put a little bit of the baby food in a small bowl and put a few drops of warm water and mixed it together.  It's usually easier to force feed with two people.  One person can hold her and the other can insert the food.  You can do the same thing with water.  Best of luck.  If you have anymore questions repost on here and I'll answer back.

google a small animal vet in your area, call them and ask them if there is a specific formula you can syringe feed it. But if you know of a small animal vet that is close to you, i would take it in, and if there is nothing that they can do, then they can make it to where it poor thing doesnt suffer.

Awwww, I'm so sorry. It's always so sad when a pet hamster (or any other pet) dies.

Mush her food into powder, turn it into mush by adding some vita Drops on it- now it's healthy hamster mush. Feed her mealworms. Take her to the vet.

Take your hamster to the vet and have her put down. That is the most humane thing to do.

sometimes we have to let them go/call Anti-Cruelty or somewhere like

that

p.s. everyone should know a place if possible close that helps animals

we had a very good one but now they don't accept anymore animals

as people took advantage of them by dropping of dogs and cats that

were unwanted they only want wild injured creatures now
