  1. OK, I have "hair envy" now!!  I bet it is sooo totally gorgeous.  Everybody always seems to want the kind of hair they don't have :)

Talk to a professional at a hair salon - BUT whatever you do, don't let them take away your ethic flavor.

PS - I am so jealous

  2. try this steps

1- apply  mayonnaise  on your hair for two hours twice a week

2- mix castor oil + almond oil

and apply it for four hours once a week

3- use a good shampoo and conditioner

I suggest dove or herbal essence

    both are great

4- cut it layers and I am sure that ot will looks wonderful

  3. haha i have thick curly hair i know how you feel. curly hair can dry out really easily so the best thing to do is condition, condition, condition. but don't over-do it. i use paul mitchell leave-in conditioner every time i'm finished showering, and every sunday i shower and put in the paul mitchell intense conditioner that you have to wash out. some weeks, my mom will heat up some indian oil and put it in my hair. i wash it out after a few hours. you have to buy the paul mitchell conditioners at a salon or i guess you could get them online, and the indian oil can usually be found at those little indian grocery stores. try to not blow-dry or straighten your hair a lot because it will cause damage. also, brush your hair a lot because curly hair can get really tangly and so matted it becomes like dreadlocks! (your hair seems like it would do that) good luck :]

  4. cut it so its on your shoulder

buys product that holds curls and put it through all your hair

    make curls with your fingers

  6. Try getting a straightning shampoo and when you blow dry it, use the brush to comb it straight.Try some Paul Mitchell products also.

  7. I'm Half Mexican and Half Costa Rican, so I feel your pain. The best shampoo and conditioner I've found for my hair believe it or not is the Suave Professionals for curly hair. It costs half the price as Pantene but works better. I also don't rinse all of the conditioner out, I leave a little bit to keep the moisture in. Afterwards I spray leave on conditioner (Yes MORE conditioner, curly hair gets really dried out) and use a product called Curls Rock curl booster by the TIGI brand. I just rub it into my palms and spread it through my hair, it keeps the curls full and smooth and prevents frizz.

I also decided after years of having long long hair, that I wanted a change and cut it all off to just below my chin. If you get a hairdresser that knows what their doing with layers it'll look really cute and the curls are less weighed down. I don't think I'll even have long hair again...short hair is SO much easier to maintain when you have crazy natural curls!

  8. try using a starightening product and then starighten it with a strightener. :)

  9. my super thick, curly hair requires the maxiglide. you can buy one at maxiusbeauty.com

  10. get a texturizer not too many harsh chemicals and works like a charm

  11. have you seen the girl on deal or no deal with the short curly hair, her name is hayley...i am so jealous of her!  I love that style, and from how you are describing your hair, i think it would work for you!  Her hair was shorter, but its getting longer and it still looks great!
