  1. you need to have your last name changed on the policy, get the marital discount put on the policy and place both you and your husband and your autos onto one policy.  this will give you discount for multi cars.  also be sure the address is correct on  the policy if either of you have moved to the others home. have each of your companies quote this for you to find out which is better.

  2. Change the names, if you change your name legally, and add your spouse as a driver.

Your agent can give you information specific to you!!

  3. let the insurance company know and check out if you will need it in future.

  4. There are lots of people having the same question like you and yours is just another one. Basically speaking about car insurance<!--Car insurance is the most widely purchased type of insurance coverage. Car insurance is designed to protect you, your family, and your automobile. Cheap car insurance is a popular avenue these days, but you should be sure that you're getting all of the coverage you need, as damage to your car or another-->person's car may cost you money out-of-pocket if you don't have sufficient coverage and your car insurance rate may go up.

  5. It is always cheaper to insure 2 cars than 1 (multi car credit) and married vs single. Check with your husbands ins. co and check with yours (adding on each other to each policy) and see who is cheaper! Then make the switch.
