I had recently broke up with my boyfriend over nothing major, but after a week or few days I did not call him. But after these days he had called me and stated that he wanted to see me and that he still loves me and that I am his medicine.........at times I feel the same way, but he needs to know how to treat me far more better than what he has been doing in the past. what can I do or what are the choices I can make.

  1. Tell him what you are feeling, and why you broke up, than take it from there.

  2. You are his "medicine"?!?!  That sounds more like co-dependency.  I think you will both be far better off to seek counseling... separately.  And buy a few books on co-dependency.    No one should be your "medicine".  You need to be a whole person on your own before you can really love someone else and give yourself to them completely.

  3. You need to communicate that to him, don't assume people know what you want or what you are thinking. You need to talk to each other about what makes you happy and secure in a relationship.

  4. That is your decision to make.  You said you broke up over "nothing major."  Does that mean it was a silly fight about something unimportant, or does that mean that you're just so incompatible that you don't see eye-to-eye on anything?  If you fight more than you get along, it may be best to just move on.

Also, I'm a bit concerned that he says you're his "medicine."  Sure, we all want to be there for our guys, but you're a person, not a cure-all.  Maybe you'd rather be with someone who's more concerned about how you feel rather than how you make HIM feel.  I would say to take it slow- don't get back together with him all at once, but at least meet with him somewhere to talk about this and see if you can start back at square one again.

  5. Most of the time,if hes treating you bad now,hes going to be like that forever. Its very rare a person will change.

  6. Well in my experience if a guy doesnt treat you right it doesnt matter how much you love then or what to be with them, they probably wont change
