What to do with my frizzy hair? ?

I have curly hair and since I live by the beach it gets too frizzy. Also, when I straighten it, it frizzes, I want to get rid of that! I use leave in conditioner and hair serums. I also use mousse and I don't like gel much because it weighs down my hair and makes it fall out. And when straightened I've used serum and hairspray and I have a chi iron too. I mean I love my curls and I love it straight, but I hate the frizz! Help me!!

  1. I have natural curly hair too.  Humidity frizzes it real bad.  I use Pantene Smoothing Lisser, then I use Aussie Instant Freeze.  Seems to work well for me.

  2. i really like herbal essence's "non of your frizzness" leave in creme

  3. When blowing drying use a paddle or round brush. You have the right products ,just not doing something right. Be sure to put serum all over and take small sections to flat iron.

  4. OKIE! well if u go to a hair salon, tell them that u want ur hair straightened for like 5-10 months. and ask them is it possible if u can straighten my hair to straight hair for a very long time, something like that but whatever. so then it'll take about 3 hours until they do that, then like they'll put these like hair stuff in ur hair, then it might b a 100 bucks. well idk but where u live in, which is idk. maybe 200 bucks. cuz i got it done in a cheap place but they did it very well. so far my hair has been straight for 3 months so far. when i take a shower, and when i dry my hair, its still completely straight. i hope this works out! ;]

  5. go to your local hairdresser and ask for some special shampoo or something to help stop or calm down your frizzey hair

  6. Well I use Silky s**y Hair which is a frizz eliminator, and you can leave it in w/ out your hair getting oily.

  7. Well, I have naturally wavy hair, and it frizzes beyond belief!  My grandma bought me this product called frizz ease, and I just it after straightening my hair.    For the most part, it keeps it pretty smooth! :)

    good luck!

    mine?

  8. I have wavy hair that frizzes really badly too. Make sure you are using a good smoothing shampoo and conditioner. The Hydra Gloss stuff from Loreal is c**p. Actually most of the stuff sold in drug stores is not very high quality, so I would suggest using a salon formula. Talk to your hair stylist about which might be right for you. I like the Hydra Sleek stuff from Nexxus. Once a week deep conditioner your hair as well. It's good that you are using a serum, I really like the Silk Therapy from Bio Silk, I found it works 10 times better than the John Frieda stuff, and it's really not that much more expensive. I don't like using gel on my hair either so I use Paul Mitchell's Round Trip for curls. It works well to define my waves but doesn't weigh my hair down, and it does help minmize the frizzies. My hair still looks slightly frizzy, no matter what I do, but it's waaaaay better than if I use regular cheaper products. Oh and my hair is really healthy too, I get regular trims and rarely use a blow dryer or straightener. My hair is slightly coarse and is just naturally really frizzy.

  9. You have over dried your hair from the sun and beach and now its damaged from the products you use and from your straightening iron. Try Wen products. They really work great. Or try mask placenta. Its cheap and works great but it's made from sheep's placenta. Thats the gross part you'll have to get over if you decide to try it.
