  1. Nail them to the side of your house like everyone else does.

  2. you are supposed to send them to the state you got them from

  3. license plates from the bumper of the car?  you can probably take them somewhere to get recycled.  I believe they're now made of aluminum.  most scrap yards will take them,  and might give you a few bucks.

  4. many states and provinces require you to hand them in when a car is trashed or sold look into local legislation,if not they look good nailed to the garage wall

  5. tape them to the back of some drug dealer/users  car over his plates.

when the cops see them this person will find red and blue lites following him.

this has caused the removal of many drug users from my hood.

  6. A pair of scissors works well

  7. Sometimes, antique stores or craft stores may take them, I know I take them in at times, and use them to make roofs for birdhouses.  I've also seen people just hang them on their garage walls, kind of like a testament to the progression of the look of the state's license plates.

I think there may even be a website that has info about sending your plates to people in other states or even other countries, to those who collect and trade them, much like bottle caps or postcards.

They are also, as has been stated, recyclable.
