Question:

What to do with oily skin?

It's rainy season over by me and on top of that, our only source of cooling is from a swamp cooler, which just adds tons more moisture in the air. So we have no way to pull moisture out of the air.

So with that said, it has just caused horrible things to my skin. Its constantly wet and it makes it very oily all over my body. I wash my face 3-4 times a day because of this and take at least 2 showers a day cause my whole body just feels gross. My skin has never looked or felt more gross then it does now and it wont stop breaking out.

Has anyone else had to deal with this and found a way for your skin to not constantly be wet during the rainy season or anyone know of any products i should be using to help with this situation?

No, getting a real air conditioner of any type is out of the question we rent, they wont let us.

And a dehumidifier isnt what im looking for either(we have one and it doesnt help our skin at all).

Just a product or products that will correct my skin and make it not so "wet" and oily all the time or some weird secret thing im missing here that will work lol.

Thanks in advance.

  1. you can try blotting your face with oil-absorbing wipes by neutrogena or any other acne product lines. i have partially oily skin also and it can be a mess sometimes, especially with the humidity outside. keep washing your face! don't stop! also, try to avoid using thick makeup if you use any (thick foundation)...loose powder makeup is the way to go. it's easier, helps your skin "breathe", and it doesn't get all nasty like oil-base foundation. about the humidity problem, there really aren't a lot of options, but i wish the best of luck to you! 2. Seems like your in a tough situation, and i am sorry to hear that =( . Well when my hair gets oily and i don't feel like washing it i put some baby powder in it and it like makes it less oily. put some one your skin ... if you get to much maybe wipe the excess powder with a towel and it might take the oils with it.... but make sure you wash your faces frequently to avoid pimples

good luck =) hope i helped
