What to do with religious chain e-mails ?

Question

I hate forwarding chain letters no matter what their subjects. But i also receive a lot of religious chain letters....does it matter if i forward them or not ?

is their any gunna if i don't ?

and when i dn't forward them i feel bad cuz of the du3as they say to those who forward them and what not.

anyway, ye its not haram if u dn't thats for sure. its better, but ey. i dn't forward them anyway :p

well some chain letter I pass on like petitions and things like that

I don't get much religious ones

but I might forward those, but I usually don't

If it is something which can benefit others, i.e. it has knowledge which allows others to realise truth or what they do not know, then u should forward it..

However, today there are many chain emails which say if u dont send, u will be cursed of bad luck, this is false and haraam in islam. It is not allowed for Muslims to believe in such as Allah is the protecter and no1 can curse any1 through email or text...Its basically common sense, its a way of scaring u so u forward it.

If it is knowledge and u dont pass it on, on the day of judgement allah will ask u, why didnt u help ur brothers who needed that little bit of knowledge to take them to jannah? you will say because it was junk mail....hmmm

Now its best to forward like i said above if it is beneficial for the muslims,dua's, news and knowledge etc.

Allah is all forgiving.

what I do , is i have a folder named IsLAM> so i just put all the islamic stuuf in that. the chain letters.

sometimes i gets really annoyng cuz multipl people send me the same thing .

No i dont think there is any gunnah. IF what ever is written in it is true and inside your heart

just think about it wont be your fault if oneday the internet dissapeared. your chain letters are on it. but the main stuff is in your heart.

What you believe is your imaan and no one can change that, but people can change stuff on the internet with the blink of an eye!

thats up to you..if you believe that stuff. i personally dont believe it. nothings going to happen to you if you just ignore them...there just made up by random people.

lolz.................once i got one that said if i dont forward it to 10 people in 10 mins then i will die after 7 days
