What to do with sports/pokemon cards?

My kids have approx. 4000 sports and pokemon cards. Some are pre-1970, but most after. Can someone please tell me, what would be the best way to sell them. Individually like on e-bay, or maybe sell them all on craigslist or something. I am in no real hurry to sell them, but they don't really care about them and they want the money. Any help/comments appreciated. Thank you.

Sell them on e-bay.Say Pokemon cards are 4.99 a pack(9-10 cards).So sell them on ebay for a little bit more to make a profit
