  1. Run a needle and thread through them and hang them on your Christmas tree.....just like popcorn.

  2. Put them on craigslist.org for sell as a lot..There are alot of people that make homemade vinegars and infused cooking oils that would like these..I make vinegars and oils but my gf drinks at least 3 bottles of wine a week..so I have plenty

  3. I started a cork collection from my world travels, friends saw it and started saving and giving them to me so I now have thousands!  I make all kinds of things with them and give them back to them as gifts.  Here are a few of the favorites.  Get a straw wreath form from the craft store, some strong glue (porous to porous) and toothpicks.  You can  cover the entire wreath with the corks by sticking a toothpick dipped in glue on to the short end of the cork also dipped in glue.  Or you can use the corks as accents along with grapes, leaves and other decorations to make a wine themed door wreath.  You can cover frames with them.  You can make trivets or tray bottoms with them.  You can make "art" with them by gluing them to the sides of a canvass and then using wine labels on the surface. You can cover planting pots with them.  You can make a table top with them.  You can make coasters with them by gluing them to 3/4 inch plywood, paint the edges and put felt on the bottom.  And, you can cover a box with them for a gift.

  4. On one of decorating shows they glue them to a board and framed them. I suppose you could also stain or paint them before hanging. Do kind of an abstract.

  5. You can slice them into quarter inch pieces and glue them to the bottom of chair legs so they don't scratch wood floors.

  6.   Well they are certainly a BREED that won't be around forever, given that there are only two places on the entire planet where natural cork is found, and we can see that with plastic type wine bottle corks often used today.

I like the idea of ebay, but no one can predict that market, or any price you feel you could set.

The art is also a good one, or some kind of craft thing.

What might be as important as what you use them for is the bottles/brands/vintages/wineries they came from. To some collectors of such, the cork, which would be tagged with a name etc. might be from a specific, collectable, well known, popular vintage, or type, or Winery.

My first thought is a shadow box coffee table, corks all on end, filling the box, or laid out showing the various inking on them, then covered with a glass top.
