What to do with this old man whose in my church and a bit annoying me?

I'm 15 years old. I don't mean to sound bratty, i swear. It's just that I feel he adores me a lot and concerns a lot everytime I'm not at church. And if I miss church, he always makes me promise to him I'll come next time and makes me pinky swear him like a little child. I didn't mind until it started bugging me after a bit. He's always smiling when he sees me and wants to talk to me. I just don't like feeling this kind of affection towards me; it feels awkward. It's annoying me a bit.

quite often these old farts are like this cause they have kids or grandkids just your age that he's not able to see. Its their way of keeping their relationship with them real in their own mind. Try making comments to him about how you're growing up, perhaps he just needs the hint to stop smothering you.

he just wants you to stay GODLY and so very much godly. that's it.. i wish.. well how old is he? haha it's very annoying though when he's like 70yrold how do you think?

Wow. Your terrible. Hes a poor old man that took a liking to you. He just likes having somebody to talk to. Im not trying to be mean, but just so you know that when your older you will definatly want somebody to talk to you. Your making this old mans day.! Just continue to be nice to him. Whats the harm in that?
