What to do with too many strawberries

Help! my roomie keeps buying strawberries! Aside from desserts, I need recipes or tips on long term storage!!

Make jam!

Buy the Bell recipe/kit.  Very very simple, very very delicious!

Freeze them in storage baggies. Rinse em off and freeze them. They keep for like a year. Easy.

Smoothies!  Only wash right before you eat them, rinsing them with water and then putting in the fridge just makes them rot faster.

Tips on how to make a good smoothie: various fruits, a little juice, ice, and yogurt for good texture :)

thats what my g-ma does and i will never go back to store bought jelly

Mix it with Sugar and or if you have a enough you can make them in to a jam. Or you dehydrate  them and then just snack on them

Fondue Fountain. You could make chocolate covered strawberries

you can freeze for later use (in cooking)

or make jam now

or make up a blender full of puree, freeze and have handy for smoothies when you want one
