  1. Since you said the plane ride is going to be long, they will surely serve you food. You really do not need to pack anything as you have choices on the airplane. If you do not want to eat on the airplane, just keep in mind, any sort of liquid items will be taken away.

  2. How long is the airplane ride? If it's transatlantic or similar in length, they'll provide a meal. I remember having things like chicken when I flew from St. Louis to London.

If you can afford it, you might eat breakfast in the airport before you even board the plane, and just take a small snack. I've always been able to take fresh fruit, even after 9-11. So you might take a baggy of fruit slices or one of those McDonalds fruit/walnut salads.

  3. Twizzlers. And lots of 'em.

  4. What the heck happens when you eat carbs on a plane??!!!??  Anyways, for ease (unfortunately, it does cost you some), I would suggest looking at the airport's websites that you'll be traveling through and looking at what kind of food places they have.  Most airports will have a healthy food place in the terminal.

  5. cereal aluggage of snacks

  6. When I was in the air for 7 hrs. I took lots of fruit with me. Also some peanut butter and cheese crackers.  But that is carbs and protein, not what you need if you are staying away from carbs.  Also I found if you eat proteins and carbs together once a day you can still loose weight if that's what you are trying to do.  Have a good trip.

  7. rice cakes are low in carbs, as is airpopped popcorn
