What to eat this week?

I need help in getting meals lined up for 7 days. Just for my Husband and I. I am trying to get this planned so I am prepared and only have to shop once a week. Help! We don't like fish, and we are on a TIGHT budget!

  1. 1st- veggie burgers(cheaper than real meat and much healthier!)

    2nd- chili and palenta(palenta is cooked corn meal- all you have to do is boil water and add corn meal with some salt and stir- Very Healthy)

    3rd- whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce

    4th- stir fry and brown rice

    5th- burritos( very easy soft tortillas and just cut up whatever you want to eat in them)

    6th- bean salad, cooked beats, rice, potatoe salad

    7th- LEFTOVER NIGHT!

  3. Plan your meals around the sale ads.

    If ground beef is on sale, buy enough for 3-4 meals. Freeze it until you need it. If chicken is on sale, buy a couple meals of THAT.

    If you are simple to feed, have Ramen noodles, meatless spaghetti & sauce, or mac & cheese foe at least one meal.

    Breakfast for dinner is cheap--pancakes, eggs, and toast are all cheap & filling.
