What to eat when cutting weight...tired of the same stuff everyday!?

I have a fight in about 8 weeks so I need to control the weight...I get really tired of the plain chicken or tuna. Can anyone recommend other things...I don't really know what is acceptable so that's also why I stick to the basic food I mentioned. And don't start with cutting out all carbs c**p, that's for lazy people that don't work out...we're athletes that really need energy for intense training. Some recommedations for breakfast, lunch, dinner and acceptable in-between stuff, I guess. I usually only cut a few pounds of water weight the week before, but I gained a lot of muscle mass because of heavier weight training, and I don't want to lose that, of course! I have to cut about 12lbs so I want to lose about 5lbs naturally, and the rest should be easy water weight.

  1. any vegetables

  2. buddy y dont u try green salad in the breakfast..

  3. steal cut oatmeal, eggs (1 whole for every 3 of just egg whites), peanut butter (best kind is power butter you can get it from gnc), a banana or plain grapefruit, and yogurt or milk (this is what I eat every day)

breakfast is your most important meal of the day. you need a large breakfast to jump start your metabolism

your don't have to eat plain foods to cut weight. you can add peppers and spices to your chicken. actually spicy food will help your metabolism. vegitbles are key to being healthy!!! eating tuna every day also isn't a good idea. sometimes it s great b/c it is good source of protein but be careful not to overdue it b/c of the mercury it has in it.

Also a great thing to do is to start juicing. get a juicer and start juicing fresh vegetables. one of my favorite juice drinks to make is... kale, spinach, parsley, a carrot, an apple, and half a lemon. also if you can try not to eat anything past 7 and definitely nothing past 8. (I don't know your schedule but the idea is to not eat shortly before you sleep b/c during sleep your metabolism is much slower and not all of that food is digested well and can get stuck as fat. good luck and if you have any more questions feel free to send me a message

  4. have a variety of fruits, and vegtables. you want some protein so have some cottage cheese, beans, and the seafood, and chicken.  don't always look at the fat and be like uhh that is a little high,  sometimes the higher the fat the most vitamins and minerals and protein.  like peanut butter.  it is 16 grams of fat but it is so good for you.  you can pretty much have whatever as long as you make the amount small.  don't eat out of a box because you canlt limit yourself and you don't know how much you ate.  water is great , you are supposed to drink half your weight in ounces. so if you are 220 then yuo drink 110 ounces a day.  and to speed your metabolism you have to eat a small amount every 4 hours.  like salad, and then in 4 hours a chicken salad or sandwich.  then like a fruit salad, or vegtable.

  5. Eat lots of lean protein.  It will allow you to keep your muscle and drop fat.

For breakfast have, black coffee an egg white omlete with veggies and turkey.  Breads should be whole grain.  I'd cut out juices and soft drinks and just have water.

Lunch can be a grilled chicken or turkey  wrap with salad greens, tomatoes and fat free cheese.

For dinner have grilled, steamed or broiled salmon or any fish that you like, baked sweet potato (plain) and a healthy portion of steamed veggies.  I'd go for spinach, broccoli or asparagus.

Beans are a great source of lean protein as well.  Have them as hummus, in a cold mixed bean salad, or serve black beans over whole grain toast with fat free cheese.
