  1. every state is different ,but they are going to test on lights horn ,blinker keeping at the right speed and yes if you cant park then you are not going to be passing you have to practice as much as possible and if you fail get back up and try again take it from me who went through this

but before you drive you will be expected to adjust the mirrors, put ur belt on and show ur hand signals too

  2. hmm I'm sure the dmv has a checklist for what they test on. Yep, definitely check the website because they tell you alot.

know where the parking brake, defroster, signals, wipers, etc. (basic equipment of car)

parking is NOT hard. they don't ask you to parallel park between both cars. Sometime during your driving test the instructor will tell you to pull to the side and park. Yes, you are technically parked parallel to the curb but you don't do the whole reverse-into-parking-spot-between-two-ca...  bit. After that he'll tell you to reverse (in a straight line) and then you'll just continue on the road. at the very end of the test you'll be asked to park in the dmv parking lot. Keep in mind the parking lot is small so make sure you practice there and around the area before your test day.

&you probably won't fail if you don't park well unless you parked over two spots or something.. just make sure you stay between the two lines!

They'll ask you to lane change and do right and left turns (at intersections with solid green lights & at the ones with the turn arrows) You'll be driving in residential areas and probably at one big street with mild traffic.

the freeway. Chances are, if you are a teenager, the instructor will not test you on the freeway. I guess they're afraid of dying or something.. but most of my friends didn't get tested.

automatic fail= hitting the curb, endangering the instructor & yourself, anything illegal..

you can get up to 15 marks off before you fail so just be very careful :]

I was pretty nervous too but you just need to stay calm. Realize that millions of people drive everyday and it's nothing scary. The only thing I can suggest is practice ALOT, obviously around the dmv area that you'll be testing at. OH and make sure you schedule your appointment at a time when there are less cars. It wouldn't be wise to take your test during rush hour.
