Appreciat all those that responded to my earlier question of Kawa Vn 900 vs. mean streak. This question has to do with the very skinny 21" front wheel of the kawa vn 900 custom. I have never ridden on a tire that narrow and dont really know what to expect. I asked the dealer if i could test drive it but they refused. So if anyone knows what i could expect from a tire like that on a 550lbs motorcycle please let me know. (i.e- cornering, highway miles, accident avoidance). Thanks, Jon

  1. I'll tell you man, I ride my friends '08 custom every once in a while and I think it rides and handles great. I really like that bike and love the look of the front wheel. I want a 21 on my Street Glide!!

  2. Never had a problem with them.

  3. Skinny tires turn easier, this is a fact, but they tend to wander a little on straight highway driving. Thats why cruisers have fatter tires, when as bikes like choppers, alot of bar type harleys, ect all have the skinny front tire. enjoy it, itll be a blast

  4. it will wander on rain grooves a little thats all.
