What to expect from Rebecca Hudson in the upcoming tournaments?
Rebecca Hudson is a well known name among golf fans. She has managed to build a strong reputation in the tough world of professional golf.
What to expect from Rebecca Hudson in the upcoming tournaments? That is a question many fans and golf experts are asking themselves. To answer the question, we only have to look at her past performances.
Her most recent performance was at Raiffeisenbank Prague Golf Masters. She was up against Melissa Reid, a fellow English golfer, Stefania Croce and Diana Luna, both from Italy.
Many expect her to perform as she has been doing so far - middle of the leaderboard with a not-so-impressive score.
She surprised everyone with an astonishingly good performance. She started out at number four and finished the tournament at the third position. She shared the prize with Australian Rachel Bailey. Her score was 209.
Her performance in individual rounds was also commendable. She finished the first round on 70. The score was very good if compared to the leading score of 68.
The next round went equally well, with Hudson scoring 68, just a point more than Melissa Reid’s 67. The final round was a repeat of the second round. Hudson scored 71. Reid was 72.
For July 2012, Hudson is set to appear in the South African Women's Open. She will start with the 62nd position. She will compete with many of the same competitors from Prague.
Many experts claim that this will prove to be a great event for Hudson. She will be able to apply the lessons learned in Prague to her advantage.
August 2012 is likely to be a busy month for Rebecca Hudson. She will be appearing in two major tournaments, Ladies Irish Open and ISPS Handa Ladies British Masters.
Ladies Irish Open is a tough competition in which Hudson will start at number 62. She will face Diana Luna again in this tournament.
Many analysts predict that it will be a tough game with Hudson and Luna doing their best for the top slots.
The next event in August is ISPS Handa Ladies British Masters. The entry list is out and Hudson is slotted at number 62. The line-up is a star studded affair, with leading golfers, including Laura Davies, Lee-Anne Pace and Becky Brewerton.
These tournaments will give Hudson a chance to play against some of the world’s leading female golfers. Given the competition, she is expected to give her best, despite the hectic schedule.
September 2012 is again a busy month for Hudson. She is scheduled to appear in two tournaments, UNIQA Ladies Golf Open and Open de España Femenino.
UNIQA Ladies Golf Open is a tough tournament by any standards. The entry list is filled with top names of the golfing world.
However, Hudson is expected to brace herself against players, such as Becky Brewerton and Gwladys Nocera. She has already played against them on at least two previous occasions and is aware of their game play.
Open de España Femenino is scheduled late in September. She will play against the same players, so her game and strategies could be predicted quite easily.
Rebecca Hudson went pro in 2002. Since then, she has claimed five professional titles to her credit. It is expected that she will bag at least one title in the coming months.
