What to expect when you are going on a cruise?!?

for spring break me and my family are going on a cruise to cancun mexico :) ive never been on a cruise before and ive never been to mexico either. is it fun? will i meet people?? and most of all WILL I GET A GOOD TAN?! lol.

i went on the mexican riviera cruise in 2005 and i had a blast. it was the best trip i had taken even better than hawaii. the cruise is so much fun.

Yes, you will have a wonderful time. The ships have special programs for teens, swimming pools, and all kinds of entertainment.

Well, they say Americans don't appreciate reading good books, but I haven't given up hope yet:

Good literature before or during a cruise [to prepare you psychologically]:

David Foster Wallace's short story "A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again" (published in a book of the same title).

When you've done that, read James Thurber's short story "The Pleasure Cruise, and how to Survive It".

If you can't get enough of that, read Evelyn Waugh's story "Cruise".

But from your use of language I guess you're to young to get the writers' humour.     :-)

Just give the books to the older members of your family as a gift.
