What to feed an underweight yearling colt?

Question

I've recently rescued a little eight month old colt from the knackery who has a belly full of worms and is very skinny and was very dehydrated. He wont eat anything other then hay(question iv alredy posted) at the moment but im sure thats just time. So my question is once he is eating stuff other then hay what would anyone recomend for weight gain in young yearlings?
