I am vegetarian so no meat.

I want to fix rice and black beans. I would also like veggies and a sauce, low carb, low fat. Simple, basic ingriedents, im 16 and cant drive yet. I dont have any fresh peppers or onions.

Frozen veggies i have: Broccoli, California Blend (Broccoli, Califlour, Carrots), Asian Blend, Italian Blend, Green Beans.

  1. you can cook rice and peas, which is the Jamaican dish just look it up. I have sent you the link for several versions of this.

    It is made from tinned or dried beans and has plenty of herbs and extras.

    Rice and beans would not be low carb.

    You can stir fry your vegetables and use soya sauce or ground pepper. Make it with plenty of interesting crunch and texture, colour. Add water to make it like a soup then pour this in a bowl and spoon it over a plate of cooked rice for a perfect Tom Yung style Thai meal.


  2. how about a nice portion of salmon with an almond rice pilaf? serve with green beans or broccoli
