I have some horses, and I want to get more of a variety. So I decided to either get a Goat or Sheep. I know Sheep are alot of work, and I am up to that. BUT, Goats are very destructive and eat everything. My uncle had a goat who broke into his trailer and ate everything. So I need help making this decision.

  1. I raised pygmy goats for a time and while they were just the most loving animals, they were somewhat of a pain in that they are "houdini" like in their ability to escape from any pen or fence and once out will eat anything growing (except grass, which a lot of people wanted to buy them for and I had to tell them no, your roses yes, but grass, no)

  2. when you get the right kind of sheep they are NOT alot of work

  5. Get a goat.Sheep are not very smart.Plus they have to be sheared every spring. Lots of work.

  6. probably a goat!! :)

  7. goats love to eat such greenstuff as...burdock and poison ivy ( it doesn't  hurt them in anyway)..we have been raising goats for a long time....( I have NO clue about sheep)

Goats are able to withstand many deseases, and in most

cases the Lyme desease carried by ticks,

There is a falisy that goats eat "everything"..cause they won't.
