What to get my niece for her birthday?

Question

She is going to be one year old soon, and there is going to be a birthday party for her. I'm not absent of ideas, but I most certainly could use more suggestions.

My sister was two when she went to Disney and still talks about it now (she's 7)

I would get her one of those things that help her to walk from fisher price. When they can't walk it is a car that you can sit on and you pull it out and she can walk with it so it's a walker too. It also plays music and everything and the steering wheel and everything move and beep or whatever. I forgot the name of it so I'm very sorry. When kids are that age they appreciate evrything. Try giving her some books and sitting with her to read them. Maybe give her some stuffed animals. Put a tote bag together filled with stuff that babies love and that will help the parents like pacifiers, stuffed animal, books. Things that will be good in the car rides when they start bawling because they lost the pacifier. Good luck!

Clothes.  At this age, they are too young to play with toys....

Get her a nice teddy bear. Or make her a quilt or blanket. Something with meaning, that she will keep forever and treasure. Maybe a tiny locket. Or have a poem or song written for her.
