Question:

What to have the Ring Bearer carry, besides a pillow?

My fiance and I were at a wedding where the ring bearer carried down a locked briefcase with the rings. I didn't really like that idea, but the fiance wants something different then a pillow. Any ideas?

  1. He could carry a teddy bear - you know a "ring bearer".

  2. a nice little chest with them inside?  I don't know, our ring bearer is going to be our puppy (yes little tux and all lol) so we'll jsut have the attendants hold our rings.

Maybe a treasure chest?  My grandson carried one very similar to this one for my daughter's wedding.

  4. my son carrried a stuffed puppy dressed in a tux with a little red velvet bag attached to the collar.. it was cute AND he got to keep the puppy

  5. A small, engraved silver bowl with your wedding date on it might be nice.  That way, you can use it on your dresser for jewelry, etc. as a remembrance of your big day afterward.

  6. My son and stepson-to-be are both 10 and are our ring bearers. Since they're both a bit older we wanted to do something different since the pillows seem a bit juvenile so we decided to have them carry the actual ring boxes down the aisle. It's easy since the box stays closed so the rings won't be falling out and we didn't have to spend money on pillows. Hope this helps!

  7. Just not there pocket believe me honey my lost our rings. a heart shaped box is nice. congrats

  8. At my cousins wedding they had the ring bearer (the brides nephew) carry a simple vase with a white rose in it, and a sage ribbon tied around it (Sage and white were her colors). Tied to the ribbon were the rings. After the wedding, he gave the rose to his grandfather and his grandmother (the brides parents). I don't quite know if you like that idea, but it made everyone cry & I thought it was beautiful.

  9. a pretty box displaying them? that could be pretty.

  10. A treasure chest...

  11. My grandson carried a large seashell that I lined with white satin and then sewed ribbons into to tie the rings to.  It was a beach wedding obviously.

Is there any "theme" to your wedding?  There are many options we could suggest if we had a few more details.

  12. A teddy bear with the rings tied to the neck.

A small decorative birdcage with the rings in a nest.

    A decorative imported box.

  13. I'm having a beach wedding, and we're using a large mother-of-pearl shell with a ribbon on it, and tie the rings to it. We have shells all through the wedding.
