  1. Well, first of all I'd reccomend using moisturizers with sun-tan lotion in it, or a foundation with spf in it, that way you don't have to use quite so much suntan lotion on yoru face.

Next step, get blotting paper, and blot your face so it doesn't look oily!

For oily skin, product users at www.totalbeauty.com rate Clinique Stay-Matte Sheer Pressed Powder and MAC Blot Powder Pressed very high for long lasting natural matte finish.

  2. If your sunscreen isn't sinking in... you may be using too much.  After applying it - wait a minute or so (brush your teeth or something else).  Then see if most of it has gone into your skin.  If there's still some remaining on top (or you feel it's too oily looking - you could try what I do when I put on too much moisturizer...

Get a damp washcloth and just PRESS it over your face to remove the excess.  DON'T rub!  You don't want to remove any of the product you need... but you do what to get any excess off.

Then next time, try just a little bit less product.

Also, you could try an oil-free sunscreen.  That will also generally absorb without leaving an oily residue behind.  Honestly, I would try that first before I started placing any type of powders into the mix.
