What to look for in a good folding pocket knife?

You will loose it eventually. We all do. There is some blackhole somewhere under every washing machine that eats pocket knives.

Buy one you like. Don't spend too much.

Only invest any real amount of money on a multi-tool, sheathed lock blade or straight bladed knife that you can hang on your belt. Pocket knives just seem to spontaneously disappear on me about every 6 months.

Just my 2 cents...

And yes....I carry a pocket knife every day. My grandpa told me to.

it's sharpness...and also the amount of torque you need to apply to fold or unfold it.......
