Question:

What to look for in a stunt bike.?

So I've been riding bikes for about 5 years, both dirt and street. Right now I ride a GSX-R 750.

Sure I've done a few wheelies here and there over the years, but I really want to get into some more serious stunting, without risking any damage to my primary bike.

So I'm thinking about buying a cheap used bike, preferrably under $3500 tops, hopefully much less. Perhaps one that is all beat up but still runs good. I'm wondering what are the biggest things to look for in a stunt bike?

And also more specifically I'm wondering.

1. Is it a must to get a fuel injected bike, or are carburated ones just as good?

2. What's the best size to consider for stunts, 600 750 1000?

  1. fuel injected, if you get a carb bike and stay on a wheelie too long the motor will stall and you'll go over the handle bars. also look for a bike that has tons of parts, like bigger rear sprokets, and a motor cage

  2. Try ebay. You can get a beat up one that still runs good for pretty reasonable. If not there try craigslist.

  3. Look for one that is banged  up with broken parts maybe some blood and flesh on it. It probally came from a stunter

who had to learn the hard way that is not what the streets are for.
