What to make for school lunch if you're a vegetarian.?

I decided to go vegetarian, but im having trouble thinking of what to make for my school lunch.

help?

  1. You could have a bagel, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, yogurt, etc. Pack some fruit as well.

    Your school probably has vegetarian options if you ever want to buy lunch.  


  2. Go to the grocery store.  There are actually hamburgers that are made from veggies no it's not tofu it actually tastes like the real thing.  Also if you like pomegranites that could add some exotic flavor.

  3. I've been vegetarian since I was born, and usually eat one of these:

    -Rice with curry potatoes

    -Rice with tofu

    -Rice with lentils

    -tomato fried rice

    My mom is chinese and always cooks rice for me and my dad's lunch. On the side I can have:

    -fruit

    -pudding

    -bread

    -chips

    Or, if you'd rather exclude rice you can always make a sandwich out of pb&j, or lettuce&cheese, or fake meat.

    Always bring water!

  4. I normally make single filling sandwiches using sandwich bread.

    Lettuce, tomato, Vegemite, jam etc

    I'm a vegetarian, and this is what i usually pack for lunch:

    1.vege sandwich--has cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, mustard, mayo, and maybe ketchup

    2.bean burrito--beans, shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and salsa wrapped in a tortilla roll

    3. salad?

    4.wrap--take a tortilla roll and put your fav food and wrap it together

    5.fruit salad?

    6.Nutrigrain Oats and hOney granola bar

    snacks: chips, cookies, fruit, water/juice

    Salad wrap

    Your own version of veggie delight like subway

    3 bean salad

    egg salad if you eat eggs

    cheese sandwich if you eat cheese

  8. Depends on what level you are but there are some easy things to take for lunch.

    PB&J

    Egg salad

    tomato and cucumber sandwich, yum.

    Salad, fruit salad, potato salad, etc.

    granola bars

    chips, crackers (with cheese if you eat it)

    pizza

    I usually take leftovers from dinner.


  9. Okra recipe is good for school lunch as it is dry and tasty also.

    ngredients:

    1 pound okra

    2 medium onions, chopped

    1/4 tsp garlic paste or powder

    1/4 tsp coriander paste or powder

    1/8 tsp cumin

    3 large tomatoes

    2 tsp oil

    1/2 cup chopped cilantro

    How to make bhindi dopiaza :

    * Cut the tip and the very bottom from the okra just to clean it, but do not slice.

    * Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion and cook for 3 minutes.

    * Add all ingredients except okra, tomato and cilantro. Cook for 3 minutes. Add okra, then cook for 6 to 8 minutes. Garnish with tomato and cilantro.

    * Serve the bhindi bhaji with rice, naan or pita bread.
