What to memorize before interstellar travel?

Suppose you were going to permanently relocate to another world(s). You have no idea what the cultures or technology, or lack of technology are like. You have only a little time to prepare. What are the most essential things that you would memorize. You can't bring ANYTHING with you. Does not have to be limited to this yahoo answers subject area

Well, you'd want to memorize books on basic survival skills - building shelter and catching food and so forth. Of course, memorizing is one thing, but what you'd really need is a lot of knowledge about surviving in different circumstances - knowledge that comes from learning a lot and experiencing a lot.  Because you would be going into an unknown situation, there would be no way to determine if any one piece of information, memorized, would translate into value once you got there.
